Less than a week's use. one of ear pieces snapped off. never, ever buying from this brand again. No unusual stressing. The plastic holding it to the band has sheered. I go through headphones fast enough.
It has a little slide switch to go from mono to stereo, but I think it was backwards because when on mono it sounded like stereo and visa versa, a small matter. I paid only $13 for this headset through Amazon and was amazed at the sound which was clear and rich. Buy it, you won't be disappointed, especially for $13 and eligible for free shipping. The headset comes with a small jack that fits the tv, mp3 and computer and a larger jack that can be clicked over the smaller jack that fits my home stereo unit. I'm not a dyed in the wool audiophyle, so maybe those that pay $100 for a headset would disagree, but it sounds great to me. The headset has volume control knobs to adjust the volume if desired.
When I bought the headset(s), I wasn't needing anything great but I was really suprised at the quality when I received them and tried them for the first time.
When I have a son and he starts listening to music I will give him these to use, until then they will probably stay where I left them after trying them out. What can I say I was buzzed and honestly felt I needed to own these. Dont drunk shop people it lands you with headphones that feel cheap, have a sound that can only be described as distant and if you like bass dont bother with these.
Cord length is about 8 feet, which means you will need to own or buy an extension if you plan on listening with these over 8 feet away from your stereo, computer, TV, etc. Sound experts should always spend the hundreds of dollars for a better set. Both new sets arrived promptly and in good working order.
If you want some extra headphones for kids or guests I would recommend these. But if you just want something simple and basic and a big bang for little money, get this set. If you want to play sound expert then these headphones are not, repeat not, for you.
I ordered 2 sets of these Cyber Acoustics headphones to replace 2 older sets from a different manufacturer, 1 of which was "lost" by a guest and the other of which was broken by a different guest while listening to my stereos and TVs. These headphones are nothing to brag about, but they put out a good sound considering they are less than $20. 4 stars.
They come with a built in switch for mono or stereo operation with individual volume adjustments on each earpiece. I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.
